Charlatte Model PE2300 medium duty tractor is a self-propelled battery powered support vehicle designed with a 2+ ton (2300 kg) capacity rear platform, larger than the Charlatte CFB2000E, which reduces baggage cart requirements and is perfect for interline and last minute baggage transfers, yet the unit is still capable of towing additional baggage carts. Despite its longer rear platform, the unit is highly maneuverable with a 155" (3.95m) inside turning radius. The unit is designed so the majority of components are compatible with the T-135 & T-137 battery powered baggage tractor and the CBL2000E battery powered belt loader.

The unit is capable of a top running speed of 14 mph (23 km/h) when empty with power for the main drive  supplied by a DC motor, which is directly coupled to the rear axle. The operators compartment contains all the controls and indicators necessary to drive the unit including foot operated accelerator pedal and brake pedal, directional lever, keyless power switch, light switch, and horn switch as well as a LCD display, which provides information on the units operation and aids in troubleshooting.
