Charlatte Model T-137 A/C medium duty tractor is a self-propelled battery powered support vehicle designed to tow baggage, freight, mail, carts/cargo dollies, and pallet dollies. The unit combines all the strengths and features of the T-135 AC tractor with a much larger A/C motor and heavier duty A/C controller which provides even greater drawbar capability.

The unit is capable of a top running speed of 18 mph (29 km/h) when empty and has a drawbar pull of 4000 lbs (1814 kg). Power for the main drive is supplied by a high efficiency low maintenance AC motor that is directly coupled to the rear axle. Power steering is provided with a hydraulic accumulator, which provides quieter and smoother operation. The operators compartment contains all the controls and indicators necessary to drive the unit including foot operated accelerator pedal and brake pedal, directional lever, keyless power switch, light switch, and horn switch as well as a LCD display readout which provides information on the units operation and aids in troubleshooting.
